Slot and his assistant, Sipke Hulshoff, were both sent off after confronting referee Michael Oliver following James Tarkowski’s late equalizer in the 2-2 draw. The FA stated that Slot acted improperly and used abusive language towards match officials, leading to a £70,000 fine alongside the suspension. Everton and Liverpool have also been fined £65,000 and £50,000, respectively. The ban means Slot will miss Liverpool’s upcoming Premier League
